PRINTING PROBLEMS: Images don't print, Pages print all black, or Symbols print instead of text
SYMPTOMS
Common issues:- Images and text may print completely black
- Images do not print
- Text prints in symbols
SOLUTION
These problems are sometimes due to an older version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. FIRST, ensure that you have the needed Technical Requirements.
If you are positive you are using Adobe Reader 5, 6, 7, or 8 to view the file, try the following tips:
- Try restarting your computer to clear out your memory.
- Open only Adobe Reader, and the file you are trying to print.
- Send fewer pages to the printer at a time.
- Check the option, "Print as Image" in the print dialog box
- Create a support ticket if you continue to have problems.
